About the VPAM standard
VPAM Armoring Levels are the most recent and innovative standard for ballistic resistance certification, created in Germany and shared by institutions, laboratories and companies in several European countries. They are innovative because they measure resistance under more varied conditions than traditional armoring standards. The latest version of the standard is from 2009 and our armoring adheres to level 6 of that year.
Level 6 is superior to NIJ IIIA since it resists impacts from long weapons up to AK-47, also known as Cuernos de chivo.
